Sustainable Transport Assessment for South Africa

An assessment tool for South African transport managers, planners and engineers who wish to promote sustainable transport.

The STASSA tool currently provides checklists, an assessment framework, benchmark data and information for three areas: Cape Town, Ethekwini and Tshwane. It has been developed as part of a joint venture between Sustainable Energy Africa and the Urban Transport Research Group of the University of Cape Town. It is funded by the British High Commission.
