The Mayor Cycling to Work

The City's long-term goal is to make Cape Town more cycle-friendly, but in order to adequate plan for cyclists the staff need to experience cycling on Cape Town's roads first-hand.  

Helen Zille, the Mayor of Cape town, cycled to work on 16 October 2007 in support of Public Transport Month and the promotion of non-motorised transport.
