SEED Seminar

The Urban SEED programme held a seminar at the NASREC Global Forum on 28 August 2002. The seminar was an account of Institutionalising Sustainable Energy & Housing Issues in NGO's and Local Authorities in South Africa. Download the seminar programme (8KB).

 

Exhibition

SEED has an exhibition stall on display at the NASREC Centre. The stall had poster displays from all past and present partners including

  • City of Cape Town and Development Action Group
  • Ethekweni (Durban) Metro Housing
  • City of Johannesburg and the Greenhouse Project
  • South African Local Government Association (SALGA)
  • Department of Housing and Department of Minerals and Energy

The exhibition also displayed appropriate household energy technologies that can save money and energy. Our newsletter and pamphlets as well as bookmarkers were also available. Also on sale were the poster "From conventional to Green housing".
